Comfortable hotel at a good location very close to the beach.
Great location very close to the beach. Proper rooms and good breakfast. Didn’t use spa facilities.
A bit more space for clothes would have been nice. They had no valet parking despite what is mentioned on booking.com (but good private parking on walking distance). Also no possibility to rent bikes etc.

Great jumping off point for plenty of fun activities.
Proximal to the beach and plenty of fun activities. spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast.
The A/C in our room was placed away from the bed such that it was a bit stuffy at night. A fan would’ve been perfect.

What was the highlight of Hotel Spa Porto Cristo
Great stay but ‘hospitality’ needs to be fully embraced.
We have stayed here years ago and the revamp is confidently elegant with high end fit out and painting throughout.
Most of the staff are friendly but not all. We asked for an hour extra to check out late on our last day (of two) and were happy to pay for it if necessary. Most of the reception staff kicked for touch and said ask on the day as that Saturday was fully booked out which we appreciated and respected. On the check out morning we asked for an extra hour was granted, but it felt grudging. 15mins before the extended check out the person on reception rang our room to ensure we were checking out. Didn’t feel great not being trusted. Maybe they have had bad experiences but we were just about to leave. A really good experience was spoiled by the person on reception ( an older woman, maybe the owner?) on handing back our room fobs she was surly and non communicative, as if she couldn’t see the back of us fast enough. Not nice, maybe don’t take the front of house job!
